Academic calendar for the academic year 2023-2024 was published by the Vice Presidency for Academics.

Rezamorad Sahraei selected as Minister of Education

In the confidence vote session held on 30 May 2023 for the proposed Minister of Education, the MPs in the IR Iran's Majlis (Islamic Council Assembly) cast their votes for Dr Rezamorad Sahraei, a faculty member at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU). With 167 votes in favour, 86 votes against, and 14 abstentions (out of a total of 269 votes), Dr Sahraei was elected as the 17th Minister of Education.

Dr Khalatbari talks about the upcoming international conference

In his news conference with the university's Public Relations, Dr Hesameddin Khalatbari, the scientific secretary of the international conference "Prophetic Knowledge and Challenges of Today's World," talked about the Allameh Tabataba'i University's (ATU) priority in terms of "developing the Humanities" and added that the upcoming conference is in the same direction.

First China Library in Iran to launch at ATU Gallery

The sixth Forum of Rectors from Universities of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran was kicked off on 27 April 2023 at the Central Library of the Moscow State University (MSU) named after M. V. Lomonosov. The event was co-chaired by Professor Viktor Antonovich Sadovnichy, President of the Russian Union of Rectors and MSU's Rector as well as President of the University of Tehran, Professor Seyed Mohammad Moghimi. More than 150 Rectors / Presidents from the universities and academic institutes from the two countries took part in the Forum.
