Latest News from ATU
Most research-related activities in ATU are led under the Vice-Presidency for Research. The Research-VP is divided into four main sections, each directed in the form of a "Directorate".
Directorate for International Academic Cooperation (DIAC)
The inbound and outbound mobilites, international memberships, MoUs, and agreements, organisation of international events, and many other transnational activities in ATU are conducted within and initiate at the Directorate for International Academic Cooperation (DIAC). In this page, the office is briefly introduced, its major activities are specified, and links are provided for further information about it.
The Directorate for International Academic Cooperation (DIAC) is organised into two offices, where a number of experienced and knowledgeable officers are trying to provide a nice international experience for ATU members. On this page, the international team is briefly introduced and contact channels are provided.
Khayyam Centre for Iranian Studies (KCIS) was established by ATU at University of Nebrija in 2018. It is a cultural, scientific centre, introducing the Iranian culture, language, and history to the international community.
As a result of ATU's partnership with Shanghai International Studies University, the CCR was established at ATU in 2018. The Centre is mainly focused on research in the area of Iran-China relations.
Biruni Centre for Iran-Kazakhstan Economic Studies (BCIKES) was established in 2019 in partnership with the Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan. The centre is mainly focused on economics.
Centre for Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages is dedicated to teaching Persian language, literature, and culture to the interested international community.
The United Students of the SUN is an association consisting of student representatives from numerous universities across the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN) member states. At USSUN, students try to pursue peace and prosperity through organising various scientific and cultural events.
