On 3 May 2023, the Mohajer Centre for Immigrants Mental Health Development held a training workshop on "Communication Skills in Families" at the University of Isfahan. This workshop was among the series of psychology training workshops held for Afghan immigrants by the Mohajer Centre.

Dr Halimeh Naseri and Ms Zahra Rezvani administered the workshop materials, and Dr Seyed Mousa Hosseini coordinated the session between the speakers and the participants. 

The event was organized by the Mohajer Centre for Immigrants Mental Health Development in cooperation with the Directorate for International Academic Cooperation at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and the Afghanistan Elites' Scientific-Cultural Association, and attended by Afghan students from the universities of Isfahan.

In this training workshop, Afghan students from different universities of Isfahan learned about different communication skills in families, positive interactions between family members, and the methods to improve these skills in Afghan immigrant families.

The last section of the workshop included a QA session where the attendees asked questions about the topic of the workshop.

The Mohajer Centre for Immigrants' Mental Health Development was first established in Tehran with the cooperation of Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran Municipality, and the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency. Currently, the centre has offices in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad and provides psychological counselling and training to Afghan immigrants.
