ATU Moot Team wins the second-best judicial bill prize in ICC Competitions

The Moot Court Team of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) won the second-best judicial bill award for the prosecutor's role in the 2023 round of the International Criminal Court Moot Competitions organised by the Grotius Centre.

ATU team consisted of four members and was coached by Ali Mas'oudian and Sadra Pirniakan. Other members included Alaleh Ghanbari and Mahsa Hossein.

Competing in the oral stage with moot teams from India, China, England, Canada, and Ukraine, the ATU team wrote a bill in English in a prosecutor's role and won the second-best prize for bill-writing.

This success was brilliant as 85 teams from 55 different countries, including the universities like Sorbonne (France), and universities from the US, England, China, Canada, Germany, Singapore, Indonesia, India, and the Netherlands participated in this round of competitions.

It should be noted that the ICC Moot Court Competition is the largest and most prestigious competition in the field of international criminal law in the world and is organized every year by Leiden University in the Netherlands in collaboration with Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies.
