Summer Holidays
Academic activities in Iranian universities, including Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), are mainly divided into an autumn term (synonymous with the fall semester, starting from mid-September and ending in late December) and a spring term (or spring semester, which starts from late January and ends in the mid- or late June). As ATU does not provide any summer classes, the university is on a summer holiday for a short period, usually from around 23 July to 23 August.
However, at the same time as the students, lecturers, and the staff are refreshing themselves for the new academic year, the administrative staff tend to work online and part-time, and major activities and services are provided to the academic community.
For more information about the ways you can contact different sections at ATU, you are advised to read our Contact Information page.
