New USSUN Secretary-General appointed

According to the letter signed by Professor Abdollah Motamedi, President of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), the new Secretary-General of the United Students of the Silk Road Universities Network (USSUN) was appointed.
Moreover, on Wednesday, 15 May 2024, an online session was held, where Dr Mousa Abdollahi, Director of International Academic Cooperation, and Mr Rasoul Firouzi, a PhD Candidate in Translation Studies at ATU, participated on ATU's behalf, and Rasoul Firouzi was introduced as the next Secretary-General of the USSUN.
Professor Sungdon Hwang, Secretary-General of the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN), and Ms Yu Jeong Lee, Coordinator of the SUN, were the members participating in the session on SUN's behalf. In this session, Professor Hwang discussed the SUN's major priorities for the USSUN and acknowledged some future events planned to occur in November 2024 and June 2025.
Moreover, Mousa Abdollahi acknowledged that the ATU Directorate for International Academic Cooperation would henceforth collaborate in enhancing the USSUN activities, and Rasoul Firouzi, as the new Secretary-General, presented twenty proposals for the USSUN activities.
