Tuition Fee Schedule Announced for International Students for First Semester of 2026–2027 Academic Year
According to the Public Relations Office, as reported by the Directorate for International Academic Cooperation (DIAC), Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) has released the tuition fee schedule for non-scholarship international students for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year (autumn semester).
The approved schedule sets out the fixed semester fees alongside variable credit charges—denominated in Euros and payable in their Iranian Rial (IRR) equivalents—across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programmes according to student admission cohorts.

The schedule is subject to the following regulatory terms and conditions:
- The tuition fee charged during an approved academic leave of absence, deferral semester, or extended study duration equals 50 per cent of the total single-semester tuition fee.
- International students submitting a leave of absence request after the official add/drop deadline are required to pay the full semester tuition. In cases where a student officially withdraws from studies before the start of classes as stipulated in the academic calendar, they are liable for the fixed tuition fee of two consecutive semesters.
- Subject to the decision of the University Board of Directors, tuition payments each semester may be remitted in the Iranian Rial equivalent based on the highest Central Bank of Iran ETS foreign exchange rate recorded during the final week preceding registration. As of 8 September 2026, the benchmark conversion rate stands at €1 = 1,888,746 IRR.
- Students who study as full-time guest students at other accredited universities or undertake an approved research sabbatical will be charged 50 per cent of the semester tuition fee.
- Upon the expiration of the permitted statutory period of study, the fixed tuition rate will match the fixed fee applicable to newly admitted students within the same degree level and discipline.
