ATU Student's New Record at 5th Iranian General Sports Olympiads

Alireza Zakarian, a student-athlete at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), broke the country's record in the Frisbee contest's "distance" section of the 5th Olympiads for Iranian Students.
In the chess games also, which were held in blitz and bullet events, 159 athletes from Iranian universities participated and, Amirali Ghafourian, an ATU student, succeeded in winning third place in the bullet event and ranking 4th in the blitz competitions.
The fifth General Sports Olympiads for the students in Iranian universities and higher education institutes was hosted by Shahrekord University. A total of 1100 student-athletes from 95 Iranian universities participated in the 5th Iranian General Sports Olympiads and competed in the fields of rope jumping, physical fitness, Frisbee, chess, cycling, darts, flippa polo, and Haft Sang.
