ATU’s Educational Technology Student Association honored at the 18th International Harekat Festival

The Educational Technology Student Scientific Association of Allameh Tabataba’i University has achieved a distinguished position in the Education-Focused Competition Category at the 18th International Harekat Festival. The closing ceremony and award presentation for top scientific associations were held in the presence of Dr Hossein Simaee Sarraf, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology.
During the ceremony, held on 4 December 2025 at the University of Tabriz, the Educational Technology Student Scientific Association from ATU was officially recognized for its success. The contributions of Dr Hamidreza Maghami, the association's Faculty Advisor, and Mahya Zarenasab, its Secretary, were instrumental in securing this achievement.
On the sidelines of the event, while visiting the festival's exhibition booths, Dr Simaee, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, remarked: "A university is not merely a place for teaching, but a platform for nurturing creativity, dialogue, and critical thinking. What is seen in these booths is the enthusiasm, energy, and self-belief of the student generation, and this is a great source of pride for us."
The 18th National and International "Harekat" Festival was hosted by the University of Tabriz, featuring over 400 selected student representatives from scientific associations and showcasing more than 4,000 scientific, research, and innovative projects from 110 universities across the country.
