ATU faculty member's volume named as Academic Book of the Year

The closing ceremony of the 30th Academic Book of the Year Festival was held on 14 December 2025, attended by researchers, professors, and officials at the Allameh Amini Hall of the University of Tehran, featuring the introduction of the selected winners and honoring them.

In this ceremony, the book "A Practical Guide to Instrument Development in Behavioral and Psychological Sciences," authored by Dr Jalil Younesi, a faculty member in the Department of Assessment and Measurement at the Faculty of Psychology and Education of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), and published by ATU Press, succeeded in winning the title of "Distinguished Book."

This valuable work was selected as an outstanding work in the specialized group of Social and Behavioral Sciences, following a rigorous and codified judging process by distinguished professors and experts of the country.

The book "A Practical Guide to Instrument Development in Behavioral and Psychological Sciences," as a comprehensive, practical, and leading resource, addresses the scientific principles of design, construction, standardization, validation, and application of research instruments across the broad spectrum of psychological and behavioral sciences.
