LPS Faculty Member holds specialized workshops

Following its international cooperation with universities abroad, ATU Faculty of Law and Political Sciences held a 3-day specialized workshop on “Criminal Law and Criminology” from 14 to 16 February, 2015. Two professors from Poitier University and a number of professors and students from various Iranian universities attended this workshop held with the efforts of ATU Department of Criminal Law and Criminology.

The workshop opened with the speech made by Dr. Razavifard, ATU Vice-Dean for Research of ATU Faculty of Law and Political Sciences. It was followed by the speeches delivered by the two French professors, Professor Michel Massé and Bernadette Auber about the Essential and Formal Criminal Law of legal entities in French penal system. The workshop was concluded with the French professors and Persian Professors and students discussing different punishments, especially the alternative punishments, and their changes in French penal system.
