RUR Ranks ATU 11th in Iran

Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) was ranked 11th in Iran, in the Round University Ranking System (RUR).

According to Head of the IRANDOC Research Centre, in the 2017 round of the RUR 11 Iranian universities are ranked. Dr Alidousti then added that Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Sharif University of Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, University of Science and Industry, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran University of Medical Sciences, University of Isfahan, University of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti University, and Allameh Tabataba'i University are the eleven Iranian universities ranked in RUR 2017.

He then pointed to the main goal of RUR being the assessment of the performance of top world universities according to four distinct criteria: education, research, international diversity and financial sustainability. Thanks to these rankings, university directors can assess the performance of the universities. It can also help students worldwide in finding their favourite courses.
