Part 3: Important Notes
General Guidelines
- First Semester Extension Requests: The deadline to submit study duration (years of study) extension requests for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year is Wednesday, July 22, 2026 (31 Tir 1405) for Undergraduate programs, and Wednesday, October 14, 2026 (22 Mehr 1405) for Master's and Ph.D. programs.
- Second Semester Extension Requests: The deadline to submit study duration extension requests for the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year is Wednesday, January 20, 2027 (30 Dey 1405) for Undergraduate programs, and Thursday, March 18, 2027 (27 Esfand 1405) for Master's and Ph.D. programs.
- Golestan System Requirements: Students must personally obtain their approved study duration extension permit via the Golestan Educational System during the specified dates.
- Mandatory Educational Hours: In accordance with the educational regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (approved on July 16, 2023 [1402/04/25 SH]), conducting 16 weeks of classroom instruction is mandatory across all academic levels.
- Consequences of Non-Registration: Students are required to complete their course registration electronically through the Golestan Educational System during the designated registration periods. Failure to register within these timelines will result in the student being classified as "withdrawn from studies."
- Daily Schedule Hours: Registration and add/drop windows are open daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (19:00) for Undergraduate programs, and from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (19:00) for Master's and Ph.D. programs.
