Two faculty members of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) have been recognized and honoured as national exemplary professors at the 33rd National Commemoration Ceremony for Exemplary Faculty Members.

The ceremony was held on Sunday, 14 June 2026, hosted by Iran University of Science and Technology. Attendees included Dr Hossein Simaei, Minister of Science, Research and Technology; Dr Fatemeh Mohajerani, Government Spokesperson; Dr Shoja Ahmadvand, President of Allameh Tabataba'i University; as well as a number of university presidents and distinguished professors from across the country.

During this national event, top educators from universities and higher education institutions nationwide were presented with plaques of appreciation.

Dr Hossein Salimi, full professor in the Department of International Relations, and Dr Rezamorad Sahraei, full professor in the Department of Linguistics at Allameh Tabataba'i University, were introduced and honoured as national exemplary professors.

The ceremony is held annually to pay tribute to the esteemed position of university professors and to highlight their pivotal role in advancing the scientific and cultural goals of Iran's higher education system.
