Dr Maghsoud Amiri named among the world's top 1% highly cited researchers

The Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) has released the list of the world's top 1% highly cited researchers for the year 2025-2026, and a faculty member from Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) has been included in this prestigious list.
According to the report by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Dr Maghsoud Amiri, a faculty member of the Department of Industrial Management at ATU's Faculty of Management and Accounting, has been recognized among the top 1% of highly cited researchers globally.
Dr Amiri has authored numerous research works, including articles, books, and research projects. His academic portfolio includes 114 articles indexed in Web of Science with 4,896 citations and an H-index of 38; 186 articles indexed in Scopus with 6,136 citations and an H-index of 42; and 606 articles indexed in Google Scholar with 10,336 citations and an H-index of 49.
The Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database, affiliated with Web of Science, publishes a bimonthly list of the world's highly cited researchers based on data accumulated over the past 10 years.
The primary criterion for selecting these scholars is the citation count of their scientific output. Accordingly, the top 1% of researchers who receive the highest number of citations in their respective specialized fields are designated as "Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers."
This report, prepared by the ISC, identifies highly cited Iranian researchers across 22 subject areas in the sciences and social sciences. The data was compiled and analyzed based on six bimonthly lists from Aban 1403 to Shahrivar 1404. According to the findings, 1,142 Iranian researchers have secured places on the global list of the top 1% highly cited researchers.
