As reported by the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT), Dr Hossein Simaei, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran, issued a decree appointing Dr Ali Khorsandi Taskoh as the “Acting President of the Institute for Research and Planning in Higher Education.”

Dr Khorsandi Taskoh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Management and Planning at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU). To date, he has published 137 scholarly and research articles, 29 conference papers, and 17 books.

His previous executive roles include serving as Director of Research Affairs at ATU, Head of the Department of Educational Management and Planning at the same university, and Head of the Department for Humanities Development at the Institute for Cultural, Social, and Civilizational Studies.
