ATU President and MSLU Rector meet in Moscow

According to the report published on the MSLU website, on 26 April 2023 and a day before the Forum of Rectors of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, ATU President met the Rector of Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) in Moscow. ATU President has travelled to Russia to participate in the Forum on ATU's behalf.

Apart from ATU President, the meeting was attended by Dr Irina Kraeva, Rector of MSLU; Dr Mousa Abdollahi, Vice-Dean for Research at ATU's Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages, and the Counsellor of Islamic Republic of Iran's Embassy in Russia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed possible grounds for expanding and deepening cooperation in the mobility of students and staff. Moreover, the participants talked about the results already achieved, prospects for future cooperation and plans for developing a joint degree programme in "Geopolitical Problems in Central Asia and the Caucasus".

During this travel also, ATU President met ATU students currently studying at MSLU. Professor Motamedi talked to the students and asked about their impressions of Russia and studying at MSLU. ATU President also visited the Center for the Language and Culture of Iran and met MSLU students studying Persian in the Center.
