ATU Signs an MoU with Gdansk University of Poland
On Wednesday, 28 September 2016, Allameh Tabatabai University (ATU) hosted two faculty members from Gdansk University (GU), Poland. In this session, held in ATU Vice-President for Research's office, members from Directorate for International Academic Cooperation welcomed the Polish guests and discussed the common grounds for cooperation between the two Institutes. At the beginning of the visit, Dr Habib Honari, ATU Vice-President for Research, presented a brief introduction to ATU and offered his suggestions for the two institutes' further collaborations. The session then continued with the Polish Delegation agreeing with the suggestions and offering their corresponding institutes suggestions for cooperation, including the exchange of faculty and students, organization of joint workshops and conferences, and exchanging faculty members for the two institutes' journals' editorial boards. The session concluded with the parties exchanging signed copies of MoUs.
Before this session, the Polish Delegation, Dr Wojciech Grabowski and Dr Rafal Ozarowski, Assistant Professors at GU, had participated in a specialized session on "The Middle-East Developments from the Viewpoints of Iran and Europe" on 26 September 2016. The session was held with the presence of faculty members from the ATU Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.
