Non-Persian Degree Programmes
Degree Programmes in Languages other than Persian
According to the decisions made by the Iranian Academy of Language and Literature and the related authorities on language policies and the requirement to use Perian Language in Iranian university classes, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) requires that foreign incoming students are proficient in Perian Language. To this aim, the ATU Centre for Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages (TPSOL) is teaching Persian language, literature, and culture to international freshmen and preparing them for attending the courses taught in Persian.
However, a number of degree programmes are taught in languages other than Persian. In the table below, these programmes are briefly introduced.

International Degree Programme in Persian Language
In ATU, the Department of Persian Language and Literature offers a Master's Degree Programme in Teaching Persian Language and Literature to Speakers of Other Languages. The programme is exclusively designed for international students interested in learning Persian Language and Literature in its native land. The programme is specified in the following table:

International Certificate Programme in Persian Language
Similar to the Master's Degree Programme in Teaching Persian Language and Literature to Speakers of Other Languages, the Certificate Programme in Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages (TPSOL) is offered to international students interested in learning Persian Language in a intensive, short-term course. The students should receive a certificate demostrating the marks acquired and hours attended. The TPSOL programme is specified in the following table:
