Teacher Training Workshop Held for Afghan Lecturers

Allameh Tabataba"i University"s (ATU) Centre for Research in Cultural Studies held a three-day workshop for lecturers from Ishraq University of Afghanistan.

Following the memorandum of understanding signed between ATU and Ishraq University, ATU"s Centre for Research in Cultural Studies held a three-day workshop on "Teacher Training" for 17 university lecturers from Ishraq University of Afghanistan. In this workshop, Dr Shoja Ahmadvand, Vice-President for Education; Dr Faez Dinparast, Head of the Centre for Research in Cultural Studies; and Dr Mandana Tishehyar, Director of International Acadeic Cooperation, elaborated on the potentials of ATU and the benefits of holding such joint activities between the two institutes, and explained the rationals behind the workshop.
Course Syllabus, teaching techniques, class management, and creation of rapport between lecturers and students were among the important subjects discussed in this workshop.
Dr Hossein Abdollahi, Dr Gholamreza Yadegarzadeh, Dr Abolfazl Delavari, and Dr Hamidreza Rahmanizadeh Dehkordi taught in this workshop, and Dr Abdollahi chaired the event.
