Mr Toru Morikawa, the Chargé d’Affairs at the Embassy of Japan in Iran, had a visit to Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) on Saturday 13 July 2019, and unveiled 100 books donated to ATU by the Nippon Foundation of Tokyo.

At a ceremony held on 13 July 2019 with the aim of developing international academic cooperation between ATU and Japanese institutes and introducing Japanese language, culture and civilization to Iranian students and professors, Mr Toru Morikawa, the Chargé d’Affairs at the Embassy of Japan in Iran, had a visit to ATU and presented 100 books to the Central Library and Documentation Centre. The books had been donated by the Nippon Foundation of Tokyo.

In this visit, Mr Morikawa had negotiations with Dr Hamidreza Oloumiyazdi, ATU Vice-President for Research; Dr Mehdi Taheri, Director of ATU Central Library and Documentation Centre; and Dr Mandana Tishehyar, Director of International Academic cooperation on the development of collaborations between ATU and the Nippon Foundation of Tokyo.
