ATU’s PhD Student Finishes 1st in West Asia Chess Competitions

Ehsan Ghaem Maghami, PhD student of Sports Management at Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU), won the first place in West Asia’s Chess Competitions.

In the 9th round of the West Asia Chess Competitions, held from 19 to 27 June 2019 in Jordan, Ehsan Ghaem Maghami, the first Iranian chess grandmaster and a PhD student of Sports Management at Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU), won the first prize of the competitions and received the license to the 2019 Russia World Championships. Congratulations to him, his teammates, and ATU’s great family.
