ATU Vice-President for Research Attends the AUAP Conference

Following the membership of ATU in the Association of the Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), Dr Hamidreza Oloumiyazdi, ATU's Vice-President for Research, attended the Association's annual conference held in Surabaya.

The 1st Joint Conference and the 33rd AUAP Annual Conference was held from 9 to 12 July 2018 in Surabaya University, Surabaya, Indonesia with the subject of “Developing the Sustainability of Higher Education Institutions in the Digital Era”. In this conference ATU's Vice-President for Research, Dr Hamidreza Oloumiyazdi, together with CEOs and officials from different foreign institutions participated and negotiated future collaborations in scientific and research grounds. In the end of the conference, ATU signed an MoU with Surabaya University. In this three-day conference more than 100 representatives from more than 26 different countries attended. ATU and University of Tehran were the two Iranian representatives. It should be noted that, during this journey universities from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Thailand, and Malaysia expressed their readiness for cooperating with ATU.
