International Sesson on Religions and Global Peace Held in ATU

In a session held in ATU Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies (TIS), faculty members and students from TIS participated and discussed their ideas regarding the issue of peace and religion. In this session, Dr Gunda Werner, a faculty member from the University of Tübingen (Germany), delivered a two-hour speech on Religions and Global Peace. She talked about the outstanding views on the principles of peaceful life in the contemporary world and described such principles as the necessity for the nations to have mutual understanding of each other and avoid prejudices to review the ideas of some contemporary western philosophers. The session was closed with the participants discussing the subject and asking their questions.
