Officials from more than 30 Iranian and German universities meet at ATU

ATU has prepared to host a meeting on the ways to enhance international academic cooperation in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences. The meeting will be held 3 and 4 July 2017 with presidents and directors of international affairs from 26 Iranian and 8 German universities.

This meeting will be organised with the aim of developing international academic cooperation among Iranian and German universities and higher-education institutes, and analysing the grounds for their further cooperation. The following guests have been invited to participate in this two-day session: Prof. Hossein Salar Amoli, Deputy Minister for Science, Research and Technology; Prof. Hossein Salimi, ATU President; Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, University of Tehran President; Prof. Mohammadreza Pourmohammadi, University of Tabriz President; Dr Parichehr Hanachi, Director of International Affairs at Alzahra University; Dr Abedin Vahedian Mazloum, Director of International Academic Cooperation at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad; Dr Majidreza Momeni, Head of the ATU Office for Developing International Academic Collaborations, and other officials from Tarbiat Modares University, Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, as Iranian guests; and Dr Jens Klaus Hermsdorf, President of Worms University of Applied Sciences; Dr Birgit Barden-Laufer, Director of International Affairs at Leibniz Universität Hannover; Dr Godehard Ruppert, President of University of Bamberg; Dr Julis Volz, Director of International Office from Justus Liebig University; Dr Martin Hagemann, from Film Institut Potsdam Babelsberg; Ms Sabrina Kusche from Justus Liebig University; and Dr Thomas Bohm from HRK, as the German delegation.
