Mr Behnam Sadeghian, a PhD candidate of Persian Literature at ATU, visited Dagestan State University (DGU) for short-term teaching.

Daghestan State University (DGU) is located in Makhachkala Province where, thanks to the two countries' affinities, there is a great interest in Iranian culture and literature. Mr Behnam Sadeghian, a PhD candidate of Persian Literature at ATU, visited DGU to teach Persian Literature therein. After his first day of teaching experience at DGU, he said: "Today was my first day of teaching at DGU and I came to know the students and faculty members. It was a nice day and all students are active and talented. Tomorrow I will teach at the journalism class. Generally, there is a great incentive and they are all kind and hospitable."

ATU Student Teaches in Dagestan

Dr Maria Gen, Head of the Persian Language Centre at the Cultural Attache's Office in the Embassy of Iran to Moscow, then added: "I hope the teachings of this Iranian lecturer can be useful to DGU Students of Persian Literature and it can help to increase the reception of Persian Language and Literature among our students."
