Museum of Contemporary Art and Tehran's Ferdowsi House of Wisdom at ATU to hold a session

The Museum of Contemporary Art and Tehran's Ferdowsi House of Wisdom at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) hold a session on Wednesday 13 May 2026. The event is the fifth session of the "Art and Resilience" series, titled "Shahnameh and Resilience," held in commemoration of the great Persian poet Abolghasem Ferdowsi.

Speakers:

• Dr Mohammad-Amir Jalali, Head of the Department of Persian Language and Literature, Allameh Tabataba'i University

• Dr Yaman Hekmat, Professor of Persian Literature and former lecturer at Kabul University

• Dr Mandana Tishehyar, Faculty Member, Department of Asian Studies, Allameh Tabataba'i University

• Dr Mehri Behfar, Professor of Persian Literature and Shahnameh scholar

The event will also feature a display of images from the miniatures of the Shahnameh of Shah Tahmasb.
