Scheduled for 24 February 2026, this academic event aims to address one of the most dynamic areas of contemporary international legal scholarship. The webinar will serve as a timely platform to explore recent developments in the conceptualization and application of subsidiary means for the determination of rules of international law.

A primary focus of the discussion will be the ongoing work of the International Law Commission (ILC) regarding this topic. Distinguished speakers and legal experts will examine how judicial decisions and the teachings of the most highly qualified publicists are evolving in their role as subsidiary means, and what prospects lie ahead for their application in international dispute resolution and legal interpretation.

This collaboration between ATU and AALCO underscores the university's commitment to engaging with intergovernmental organizations and contributing to the discourse on critical global legal issues.
