According to the report by Allameh Tabataba'i University's (ATU) Public Relations Office, the international conference took place at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, attended by Dr Shoja Ahmadvand, ATU's Acting President, and Mr Saeed Jafari, CEO of Sina Maritime and Port Services Development Company.

Organised by Sina Maritime and Port Services Development Company in collaboration with Allameh Tabataba’i University, the conference aimed to introduce Iran’s maritime capacities to other countries and explore strategies for strengthening international relations, globalizing Iranian ports, and integrating them into the global transit chain. Discussions were conducted through seven specialized panels addressing key topics.

The panels covered the following subjects:

  • Maritime and Port Law
  • Emerging Maritime Technologies and the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Shipping Industry
  • Marine Engineering and Navigation
  • Maritime-Port Diplomacy and the Interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran
  • Maritime-Port Trade and Marketing
  • Marine-Oriented Management and Economy
  • Interaction between Managers and Researchers

Additionally, on the sidelines of the conference, a long-term strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Sina Maritime and Port Services Development Company and Khalij-e Fars Ship Guidance Maritime Services Company. The agreement aims to maximize the utilization of shared potentials and capacities, secure investments, and enhance ports and maritime services in both domestic and international ports, including offshore operations. It also seeks to expand the specialized workforce, increase investment, and optimize resource efficiency.

At the conclusion of the conference, authors of top research papers were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
