ATU makes strides in scholarly journal rankings

According to Dr Mohammad Sharafi, Director of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) Press, the Qur'anic Knowledge journal managed to achieve Rank "A" in the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology's latest evaluations.

Dr Sharafi attributed this advancement to the efforts of the journal's editor-in-chief and the university's research department, highlighting it as a testament to the high quality of articles and the university's commitment to providing reliable content to the academic community.

With the promotion of the Qur'anic Knowledge, the number of Rank "A" journals at ATU has risen to 19.

Dr Sharafi also reported that the Educational Leadership Research quarterly journal secured a Rank "B" in the Ministry's recent evaluation. He acknowledged the publication team's hard work in achieving this accomplishment.

In the past year, in addition to the aforementioned publications, three other journals – Educational Technologies in Learning, Data Science and Modeling, and Mathematics and Modeling in Finance – also entered the evaluation process and successfully obtained ranks. With these additions, the number of ranked journals at ATU has climbed to 38.

Owing to all these achievements, Dr Sharafi expressed his congratulations and gratitude to the managing directors, editors-in-chief, editorial board members, and officers at the journals who played a vital role in achieving these significant successes. He emphasized that these achievements reflect the university's commitment to providing valuable and reliable content to the country's academic community and researchers.

ATU Press Director also expressed hope that with the implemented plans and steps taken towards enhancing the academic quality and internationalization of the journals, the university's scholarly publications will soon be indexed in the prestigious international databases.
