ATU President to participant in the sixth Forum of Presidents of top universities from Iran and Russia

The sixth Forum of the Presidents of Top Universities from Iran and Russia is scheduled to start on 27 April 2023 at Lomonosov University in Moscow. The Forum aims at expanding international academic and research cooperation between the universities at both countries.
Holding meetings and exchanging views on academic cooperation between the top universities of Iran and the Russian Federation in the fields of staff and student mobilities, conducting joint research projects, and offering joing degree programmes, examining the cultural aspects of cooperation between Iranian and Russian universities, and sharing experiences and best practices in terms of international joint research projects are the other activities planned to be held on the sidelines of the Forum.
During this travel to Russia, ATU President together with Presidents from other participating universities will visit the various campuses and museums at Lomonosov University and other Moscow-based universities.
Moreover, ATU is going to sign memorandums of understanding on academic cooperation with a number of Russian universities, including the Financial University of Russia, Ufa University, Tomsk University, Kazan University, and the Higher School of Economics.
Presidents of 24 leading Russian universities and 15 leading Iranian universities, including Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University, Sharif University of Technology, K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Tarbiat Modares University, Tabriz University, University of Isfahan, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Shiraz University and Al-Zahra University, will attend the Forum.
It should be noted that since 2015 and with the aim of developing academic cooperation between Iran and Russia, the Forum's secretariat has been set up at the University of Tehran, and so far five rounds of the Forum have been held and attended by the officials at the two countries.
