Faculty and student mobility agreement signed with the University of Padova

In April 2023, aiming to expand international academic cooperation with prestigious universities abroad, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) signed a faculty and student mobility agreement with the University of Padova, Italy.

The two universities have been closely cooperating since November 2017 when an MoU on academic cooperation was first signed between them. After five years and the expiry of the MoU, the officials at both universities decided to continue the existing collaborations by extending the MoU and agreement documents for another five years.

Besides being an outstanding university in Italy, the University of Padova is a leading university in Europe and the world. According to QS World University Rankings, the university ranked 243 overall and 157th in the Humanities in 2022. The University of Padova is usually among the top 40 universities in the world in statistics and psychology.
