Reza Morad Sahraei appointed as the Acting Minister for Education

In the letter of appointment signed by Dr Seyed Ebrahim Raeisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr Reza Marad Sahraei, a Full Professor of Linguistics at the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), was appointed as the Acting Minister for the Iranian Ministry of Education. According to this decision, Dr Sahraei will also maintain his tenure as the President of Farhangian University.
Born in 1355, Dr Sahraei holds a PhD in Linguistics from ATU. Teaching in primary and secondary schools, being a full professor of linguistics at ATU, authoring and translating more than 40 books, and being chosen as the top researcher in the country by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, acting as Vice-President for Students and Cultural Affairs, directing the Centre for Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages (AZFA), holding the General Director for Postgraduate Education and Deputy Head for Cultural Affairs' posts at Iranian Martyrs Foundation, and Vice-Presidency for Academic and Research Affairs at Saadi Foundation are among Dr Sahraei's former positions and activities.
