Research Agreement signed with the WHO

Following the university's policy of developing international academic cooperation with the institutions and organizations abroad, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) signed a research agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) in the field of the disabled and the elderly.
The capacity-building project is defined in the field of the disabled and the elderly and implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and the State Welfare Organization of Iran, and ATU's active participation in the project is a major step towards achieving diversity and expanding the scope of international academic and research partnerships with the international entities.
The agreement is going to receive a $19,000 grant to formulate a scientific model and create an integrated network of stakeholders in the areas of welfare, the elderly, and the disabled in Iran.
Owing to its capacities in Health Communications and acting as a think tank and the implementer of the project, ATU will be responsible for the activities related to designing a scientific model by the integrated network.
