ATU faculty member appointed as CPI President

Report by the Directorate for International Academic Cooperation–

According to the decision made at the latest meeting of the Iranian government, Dr Mohammad Reza Farzin, a Faculty Member at the Faculty of Management and Accounting, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), was apponited as President of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

Prior to that, Dr Farzin was the CEO of Bank Melli Iran, the first national and commercial retail bank of Iran. Farzin is currently Associate Professor at the Finance and Banking Department. His full CV is available here.
