ATU Faculty Member placed among the top two per cent scientists of the world

According to the latest report published by Stanford University and obtained by reviewing and evaluating the Scopus database, the 100,000 highly-cited scientists in all areas and the top two per cent scientists were introduced. According to the 2022 Elsevier Citation Index, Dr Maghsoud Amiri, a Faculty Member at the Department of Industrial Management, Faculty of Management and Accounting, was ranked among the top two per cent scientists in the world for the second continuous year.
According to this report published on 10 October 2022 in the PLOS Journal, the nominees are determined based on two models. The first model considers the long-term performance index of senior academic researchers, and the second model is based on one-year publications of faculty members. According to the second model, Dr Amiri was included among the top two per cent of scientists in the world.
In the PLOS report, top scientists have been classified into five major subject areas, 22 minor subject areas, and 176 programmes, according to standard citation indices. The condition for researchers to enter the ranking process is to have published at least five articles in scholarly journals.
