ATU and UoS Vice-Presidents Meet in Spain

Dr Habib Honari, ATU's Vice-President for Research, in a meeting with Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies of University of Seville (UoS) discussed the common grounds and further cooperation of the two institutes.

In a session held in UoS International Office, Dr Honari, together with Dr Najmeh Shobeiri, Head of ATU's Spanish Department, met Dr Carmen Vargas Macias, UoS Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies, and Dr Emilio Gonzalez Ferrin, UoS faculty member, and negotiated with them on the actualization of the MoU previously signed between ATU and UoS and the possible grounds for cooperation between the two universities. In this session, the parties agreed on mutual collaborations in the form of student exchange; student enrollment in fields other than Spanish Language, including Philosophy, Islamic Studies, History, Linguistics, and Law; faculty member exchange; holding joint Masters degree programs; and sending professors of Spanish to ATU to teach at Spanish Department. At the end of this session, Dr Shobeiri and Dr Ferrin were appointed as their respective universities' representatives to implement the signed MoU.
