ATU and Bank Melli Iran sign an MoU

At a session held in Bank Melli Iran (BMI) on Thursday, 26 May 2022, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and BMI signed two MoUs on academic cooperation. Professor Abdollah Motamedi and Dr Mohammad Reza Farzin signed the two MoUs as the CEOs of the two institutes.
In the session, Dr Motamedi pointed out that ATU has moved all its members' bank accounts to BMI and asked the BMI Managing Director to assign facilities like a BMI branch and ATMs to ATU campuses.
Dr Farzin then appreciated the efforts made by ATU in training quality graduates in the areas of finance and banking and added that BMI is prepared to leverage its capacities to strengthen the economic activities and contribute to quantitative and qualitative developments at ATU.
The parties also agreed to set up a "Faculty of Finance," provide facilities to students in the form of a charity fund, facilitate the opening of bank accounts for international students, and help with the university's physical development.
