Afghan Top Students Visit ATU
Directorate of International Academic Cooperation - The Knowledge Enhancement Course of the Afghan top students was successfully organized in Allameh Tabatabai University (ATU).
In this Course, held from 27 October to 3 November 2016 in ATUs different faculties, 10 top students, six ladies and four gentlemen, studying at Kabol University in Economics, banking, Fine Arts, Public Administration, Journalism, Law, English Literature, Education, Social Sciences, Jurisprudence and Islamic Sciences participated. All students were the first-rank ones of their departments.
During this course, the Afghan students received training in various fields of study and in the Iranian culture and history. The point they made in the end of the course was the favourite level of the classes, as compared to the overcrowded classrooms in Kabul University. In the concluding dey of their visit, the Afghan students and Dr Mandana Tishehyar, ATU Director of International Academic Cooperation, had a meeting with Dr Mojtaba Norouzi, Deputy Cultural Attache of Iran in Afghanistan, talking about their experiences during this course and their willingness to continue their studies in ATU. The meeting was concluded with the parties negotiating possible grounds for offering scholarships to Afghan students.
