Specialized Sessions and Workshops on Entrepreneurship in Educational Technology

Allameh Tabatabai University's Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences held a specialized session on “Entrepreneurship in Educational Technology” with an emphasis on e-learning.
On Monday, 17 October 2016, ATU Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences hosted an international specialized session on the subject of Entrepreneurship in Educational Technology. In this session organized and held by the Department of Educational Technology, Dr Daniel Schneider, a faculty member at University of Geneva addressed the participants. The session was convened with the aim of exchanging national and international experiences, and improving the level of knowledge, skills and attitudes in the academic staff and students of the Educational Technology Department.
Dr Khadijeh Aliabadi, Dr Darioush Norouzi, Dr Mohammadreza Nili-Ahmadabadi, and Dr Esma'il Zare'i Zavaraki, faculty members at the Educational Technology Department, were among other speakers of the session who expanded on and discussed the subject of e-learning. During the time of this session, three workshops were also convened on the “Workload of E-Learning Teachers” where the participants discussed how e-learning costs can be reduced; the workshops speakers also offered different experiences in e-learning in Iran and the Electronic Object Development Project started in ATU by and under the supervision of ATU's Educational Technology Department.
