The international ceremony to unveil the valuable volume on the age-old relations between Iran and the Hispanic world was held on Sunday, 10 April 2022, at the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages, Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU).

The event was organised in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), and apart from ATU and UAM officials, several ambassadors from Spanish-speaking countries participated in the ceremony.

The book entitled Age-old Friendships: Four Hundreds of Historical and Cultural Relations between Iran and the Hispanic World, co-authored by Dr Fernando Camacho Padilla and Dr Fernando Escribano Martin, faculty members at UAM, was unveiled at the ceremony. The embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Tehran and the Iranian Embassy in Madrid also participated in and contributed to the organisation of this international event.

The session was coordinated by Dr Raffaele Mauriello, Assistant Professor at the Spanish Language Department, Allameh Tabataba'i University.
