Minister of Science, Research and Technology visits ATU

On Tuesday, 5 April 2022, Dr Mohammadali Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, and a delegation from the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) visited ATU and talked about ATU's outstanding position in Humanities. During this visit, Dr Mostafa Rostami, Head of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office in Universities; Dr Ali Kheiroddin, Vice-Minister for Technology and Innovation; Dr Ghasem AmuAbedini, Vice-Minister for Academics, and Dr Ali Khatibi, Vice-Minister for Resource Development and Management, accompanied the MSRT CEO. Moreover, ATU's President, vice-presidents, deans, department heads, and a number of directors and faculty members from ATU participated in this event.
After congratulating the audience on the occasion of the Ramadan, Dr Zolfigol pointed out that ATU is a well-reputed university known as a landmark in humanities, and its working programmes and strategic plan can be of great use to Iranian academia. He then added that the faculty members employed at ATU are all knowledgable, expert, and reputable in their fields of study, and every graduate dreams of being a faculty member at this university because ATU has turned into a symbolic capital in the Iranian academic community.
Dr Zolfigol concluded his speech, saying that humanities are the key to development in every society, and ATU, as a university specialising in this area, will have a bright future ahead. He asked ATU to be more involved in providing the Iranian scientific community with policies, strategies, and cutting-edge measures in the areas of humanities.
