ATU Faculty Member's book receives the Commendable Award
In a ceremony held in March 2022, a book by Dr Mehdi Mirkiaei received the Commendable Award from the 39th Book of the Year Award Contest.

In a ceremony held in March 2022, Dr Mehdi Mirkiaei's book entitled Sargozasht-e Este'mar (A History of Colonialism) received the "Commendable Award" from the 39th IR Iran Book of the Year Contest.
Dr Mirkiaei is a faculty member in the Department of History, Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages. He had previously received two similar book awards in 1999 and 2002.
A History of Colonialism is a 15-volume book in which the author has used plain language to expand upon the history of colonialism in different periods. The books are mainly addressed to adolescents.
