Iraqi academic delegation visits ATU

The President and a delegation of vice-presidents from the University of Wasit (Iraq) visited ATU in late February 2022 and met ATU's Vice-President for Research and Director of International Academic Cooperation.

In a session organised with the aim of preliminary talks and understanding mutual capacities for joint partnerships, the President of the University of Wasit, Dr Mazin Hassan Jassim Hashem al-Hassani, together with a delegation of other officials, including Dr Amjad al-Muzaffar, the Cultural Counsellor at the Iraqi Embassy to Tehran; and Dr Fada al-Mawla, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, discussed the grounds for academic cooperation between the two institutes.

In this session, the parties introduced their academic and research capacities and discussed the possibilities for the signature of a memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation.
