President Salimi sends message of condolence to Kabul University President

On Tuesday, 3 November 2020, ATU President sent a message of condolence to President of Kabul University.

Following the brutal terrorist attack in Kabul University which resulted in the unfortunate shihadat of tens of innocent Afghan students, Professor Hossein Salimi, ATU President, expressed his condolences to Kabul University President, saying: "I have no doubt that the candle of knowledge will finally triumph over the darkness of ignorance and the future will be for the enlightened."

برادر گرامی ام، جناب آقای دکتر محمدعثمان بابری

رییس محترم پوهنتون کابل

مایلم به نمایندگی از استادان  و دانشجویان دانشگاه علامه طباطبائی، مراتب تاثر و همدردی خود را خدمت جنابعالی و خانواده بزرگ استادان و دانشجویان دانشگاه کابل در اندوه از دست دادن جوانان نخبه آن کشور، ابراز نمایم. دانشگاه علامه طباطبائی میزبان حدود دویست تن از دانشجویان گرامی افغانستانی است و نیک می دانیم نشستن در سوگ دانشجویانی که بهترین سازندگان آینده کشور و منطقه خود هستند، چه دشوار است. با اینهمه، یقین داریم که شمع آگاهی و دانایی سرانجام بر تاریکی نادانی پیروز خواهد شد و آینده از آن روشن اندیشان خواهد بود. از خداوند بزرگ برایتان بردباری و سربلندی را خواستارم.

Dear Professor Mohammad Osman Baberi,

President of Kabul University

On behalf of the professors and students of Allameh Tabataba"i University, I would like to express our condolences and sympathy to your excellency and the large family of professors and students of Kabul University in the grief of the loss of Afghan elite youth.

Allameh Tabataba"i University is hosting about 200 esteemed Afghan students, and we know well how difficult it is to mourn the passing away of students who are the best builders of the future of their country and region. Nevertheless, we are confident that the candle of knowledge will finally triumph over the darkness of ignorance, and that the future will be for the enlightened.

I pray God Almighty for your patience and pride.
