On 31 January, 2015, five faculty members from Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) received the 7th Farabi International Award. At this festival, held with the presence of President Rouhani, Dr. Farhadi, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, and many other officials, from the thirty academic works ed to be awarded, four works were from ATU faculties: “Theories of Global Reflection of Iran’s Islamic Revolution” by Dr. Ebrahim Barzegar; “Foreign Policy of Islamic Republic of Iran” by Dr. Jalal Dehghani-Firouzabadi; “Learning Persian: a New Analysis Based on the Modern Linguistic Theory” by Dr. Rezamorad Sahra’i; and “A New Approach in Islamic Banking: The Correspondence of Game Theory with Participation Contracts” by Dr. Seyed Hasan Ghavami. Besides, Dr. Mirjalal al-Din Kazzazi was awarded as the ed professor emeritus of ATU for all his scientific works and services.

It is worth mentioning that Farabi International Festival aims at enhancing knowledge production in humanities and Islamic sciences, introducing the role of humanities in the development of human Knowledge, and providing the opportunity for sharing comments and discussions.
