Swedish Deputy Ambassador to Tehran Visits ATU DIAC

On 19 May 2015, in a meeting organized to negotiate the cooperative potentials of Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) and Swedish Universities, Ms. Ewa Nilsson, Deputy Ambassador of Sweden in Islamic Republic of Iran had a visit to ATU Directorate of International Academic Cooperation. In this session, Dr. Mandana Tishehyar, ATU Director of International Academic Cooperation, expanded on ATU’s educational and research capacities, discussing the potential grounds for student and professor exchange and doing joint academic projects. Then, Ms. Nilsson introduced the leading universities of Sweden and discussed the possibility of cooperation with them. Given the focus of ATU on Humanities and Social Sciences, Nilsson also proposed the Universities of Stockholm and Uppsala. At the end of the meeting, ATU and Deputy Ambassador of Sweden insisted on academic cooperation between the two nations.
