Dr. Farzad Eskandari, a faculty member at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences and Computer, Allameh Tabataba’i University, , in collaboration with Farimah Houshmand, one of his students, made and patented an international invention in the field of computer sciences, named “ICAFF”. Standing for “Imperialist Competitive Algorithm” and designed in R software, ICA is a computational algorithm designed to solve various types of optimization problems in continuous functions which, as the designers claim, “provides a minimum value for the cost function and the best value for the optimization variables.” For more information regarding this package, you can visit the following webpage:
