On Saturday, 14 March 2020, an academic session was held in the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages on the "Historical Overview of Translations of Contemporary Persian Fiction in Russia".

On Saturday, 14 March 2020, an academic session was held in the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages on the "Historical Overview of Translations of Contemporary Persian Fiction in Russia".
 
Thanks to the measures and efforts made by Allameh Tabataba"i University"s Vice-Presidency for Research Affairs and the Department of Russian Language, an academic session with the subject of "Historical Overview of Translations of Contemporary Persian Fiction in Russia" was held on 14 March 2020 in the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages.
 
In the session, Dr Evgeniya Nikitenko, professor of Persian language and literature and faculty member at the Moscow School of Economics, delivered a speech on the evolution of translation of Persian contemporary prose fiction in Russia. 
 
Then, Dr Narges Sanai, the panel chair, talked about the widespread interest in translating Persian Classical literature by Russian poets and translators. 
 
The session was followed by a meeting held between Dr Nikitenko, Dr Nazemian, Vice-Dean for Research at ATU"s Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages, and Dr Mandana Tishehyar, Director of International Academic Cooperation. In this meeting, the parties discussed common grounds for collaborations between ATU and the Moscow School of Economics.
