Biruni Centre for Iran-Kazakhstan Economic Studies (BCIKES)
Date of Establishment:
17 August 2019
Coordinators:
Dr Akbota Zholdasbekova (in ENU) and Dr Majid Abbasi (in ATU).
About the Centre:
In August 2019 and following the signature of an MoU previously signed between Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and the Eurasian National University (ENU), the Abu-Raihan Biruni Centre for Iran-Kazakhstan Economic Studies (BCIKES) was officially established and inaugurated by ATU at the ENU in Astana, Kazakhstan. As the first international joint centre aiming at Iran-Kazakhstan economic studies, the BCIKES was established owing to the high importance of the development of economic relations between the two countries and the necessity for the two to gain more familiarity with the economic structures and commercial regulations and capacities of each other.
ATU and the BCIKES are highly interested in receiving proposals for collaborations with academics and economic institutes from all around the world and the Central Asian Countries in special. More information about the centre, including contact details and location, are provided below.
